SKYLINE INTERACT CLUB
The Interact Club is having their first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 20th after school! The Interact Club is hosting a benefit concert for the organization To Write Love On Her Arms. Saturday, October 1st from 7:00-11:00 pm. $5 at the door. 5 local bands, including our own Scotch Mist and Creal will be playing.

All students who are involved in Skyline Theatre's Into the Woods, including actors, crew and pit: There is a parent night on Monday, September 19th, at 5:30 in the Auditorium.

LUNCH TIME GAMEROOM
Attention Students: Skyline's Lunchtime Gameroom is back! Come to room B206 during lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays to play board and card games and listen to music while you eat! The Gameroom will begin on Tuesday, September 20th. Come and bring a friend!
HOMECOMING DANCE
Homecoming Dance tickets for the Homecoming Dance, Saturday, September 24th will go on sale all next week at lunch for $25. Make sure you get them at lunch because they will be $30 at the door the night of the dance. Dress is semi-formal, no jeans. If you are bringing a guest, guest forms for the dance are available in the SLC offices and the Main Office. Please return those as soon as possible.
CAPSULE NIGHT HAS CHANGED
The original date for Capsule Night was 9/20/11.
It will now be held on September 26th (Monday) at 6:30 p.m.
JUNIOR STATE OF AMERICA
Are you interested in politics, debate or civic engagement? Come join Skyline's Chapter of Junior State of America. This week's meeting is for all new and interested members. This is Thursday, September 15th, after school 3:00-4:00 pm
SCHOOL STORE OPERATIONS
Any day starting September 12th during both lunches, All Skyline staff and Students come visit the Grand Opening of the School Store, where you can buy healthy snacks, Spirit Wear and School Supplies.
GERMAN CLUB
This is an announcement for German Students who'd like to participate in the student trip exchange with our sister school in Germany. This includes German 4 students, who don't meet as a class until trimester 2. The meeting is in room A308 on Thursday, September 15th after school. You must speak with Frau Kappler, if you wish to be part of this trip. Refreshments will be provided.

SKYLINE HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY GIRLS GOLF TEAM
Skyline H.S. Girls Golf Team has started it's first season this fall and is looking for even more girls to join the team. Even though the season has already started, there is still room for experienced and beginner golfers.

Skyline's Fall Musical, Into the Woods, is open to all Skyline students. Pit Orchestra auditions will be Friday, September 16th from 3-7 pm. Interested students should sign up for an audition time, look at the proposed rehearsal calendar, and pick up audition music in the instrumental hallway. Information is posted outside room C110 and C116. Please see Miss Cowper if you have any questions.
RUBIK'S CUBE CLUB
Rubik's cube club will be meetng to teach people how to solve the rubik's cube. If they already know how to solve it, they will learn how to solve it faster. Come Thursday, September 29th from 3-4 pm.
SPIRIT COMMITTEE
Class T-shirts for Homecoming will only be on sale for two days this week. If you missed your opportunity to buy one at registration, you will have a chance to buy one at lunch on Thursday or Friday of this week. Class t-shirts are only $10 and a great way to show school pride for homecoming and throughout the school year. Buy your t-shirt this week!!!! Homecoming dance tickets will also be sold in a few week- those will be on sale Monday, September 19- Friday, Sept 23 for $25.

MISS WASHTENAW COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP ORGANIZATION
MISS TEEN WASHTENAW COUNTY is for high school girls grade 9th-11th. MISS WASHTENAW COUNTY'S PAGEANT is for young women 17-24 years of age, living, working or going to school full time in Washtenaw and Livingston counties. Contestants will share in more than $12,000 in scholarships and one will represent this area at the 2012 Miss Michigan Pageant! The Pageant will be held October 22, 2011 at the Chelsea High School Auditorium.
