Skytime is being moved to Friday this week because of the Pep Assembly.  The Pep Assembly Schedule is as follows:

CAPSULE NIGHT HAS CHANGED  

The original date for Capsule Night was 9/20/11.  

 It will now be held on September 26th (Monday) at 6:30 p.m.

TRANSPORTATION

Any Open Enrollment Student that is having trouble with transportation should come to the Main Office and give their name and address to Ms. Katrina Jenkins.


STUDENT PARKING LOT

In an effort to keep our students safe during drop off and pickup times, we have made some adjustments to the entry and exiting of the student parking lot at peak times of the day.

In the AM:  There will be only one way In the Student Parking Lot between 7:30 AM & 7:45 AM

In the PM:  There will be only one way Out of the Student Parking Lot between 2:30 PM & 3:00 PM

 

STUDENT PICTURES AND ID CARDS CAN BE PICKED UP IN YOUR SLC OFFICE

Our Varsity football game against Pioneer has been nominated to be the GAME OF THE WEEK on Local 4 and CLICKONDETROIT.com's FRIDAY FOOTBALL FRENZY!  If we get the most votes this week, we'll win all of the following:

 HOMECOMING DANCE 

Homecoming Dance tickets for the Homecoming Dance, Saturday, September 24th are on sale at lunch for $25.  Make sure you get them at lunch because they will be $30 at the door the night of the dance.  Dress is semi-formal, no jeans.  If you are bringing a guest, guest forms for the dance are available in the SLC offices and the Main Office.  Please return those as soon as possible!


PIT ORCHESTRA

Pit Orchestra rehearsal today is cancelled.  Our first rehearsal will be Thursday, September 29th from 3-5 PM.  Thank you for being flexible


SKYLINE EQUESTRIAN TEAM

The Skyline Equestrian Team will have their final meet this Sunday, September 25th from 8:00-6:30 PM.  The team is in close race with Dexter for the District Championship.  We invite everyone out to cheer them on to Victory!  We would also like to recognize our Varsity Graduating Seniors-Kelsey Betts, Rachel Johnston, Maren Turner, Kaitlin Powers, and Elizabeth Jaekel. Go Eagles!

 Join us in Latino Student Union!  We want everybody interested in Latino culture to come join us in sharing all of our heritage.  For our first meeting we will be having food and music, and discussing the future of our organization.  We will be meeting next Tuesday, September 20th, 3-4 pm in room A311.  Come have fun, express your culture and join us in planning this year's events!

  

SKYLINE INTERACT CLUB

 The Interact Club is having their first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 20th after school!  The Interact Club is hosting a benefit concert for the organization  To Write Love On Her Arms. Saturday, October 1st from 7:00-11:00 pm. $5 at the door. 5 local bands, including our own Scotch Mist and Creal will be playing.

    

LUNCH TIME GAMEROOM 

Attention Students:  Skyline's Lunchtime Gameroom is back!  Come to room B206 during lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays to play board and card games and listen to music while you eat!  The Gameroom will begin on Tuesday, September 20th.  Come and bring a friend!
