SLC Principal Britton and Officer Beth Patton. Congratulations and Commendations on a job well done for Ms. Britton and Officer Patton were here each night of our Bomb Threat scare and were both at school before 6 AM on Friday, making sure our crisis plan was developed ready to be implemented on Friday morning. They both were at school during the Tornado Drill making sure our students and staff were safe then as well.
Tom Pachera attended the ITEEA conference where Skyline was awarded the Progam Excellence Award.

After School Activities
It is imperative that students who are remaining in school after the dismissal bell at 2:45 pm, be in their assigned area before 3 pm. Only students who are getting academic assistance, staying for a club meeting, practice, or other after school sponsored activities may remain in the building after 3 pm. Students found loitering in the building will lose the privilege to stay after school and may be subject to disciplinary action.
SKYLINE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT
Don't wait to get your tickets for THE WINTER GALA! It is Friday, March 23rd at 7 pm at the Barton Hills Country Club. There will be dinner, dancing and a slide show featuring Skyline Athletes. The cost is $50 per person. The dress is "evening casual". Valet service is provided but not included in the price of the ticket. Please go to the Skyline Athletic Website for a ticket form.
This event supports the Skyline Athletic Sports Booster General Fund and benefits all of teams and athletes. The event is hosted by the Skyline Athletic Booster Club.
NO STUDENTS PLEASE
PLEASE turn in your Trimester 2 books to your Teachers in the classroom OR to Ms. Wade in the Book Depository. If you do not require this book for the 3rd Trimester, PLEASE turn it in so that these books may be made available for students that need them. Thank you.
For those of you that registered for the AP Exams, remember that your final payment is due by March 30th. Payments can be made with Ms. Wade in the Innovation Office from 1:00 pm-3:30 pm.
There will be a blood drive held on March 29th. To see if you qualify to donate blood, look for the Red Cross Table during early or late lunch.

All Skyline Spring Student Athletes and their parents are expected to attend the mandatory Spring All-Athletes Meeting on Monday, March 19th at 6:00 pm. Hosted by the Athletic Director, John Young. The meeting will last approximately 1hour and many of the Spring Teams will hold their Parent meetings that evening as well. The meeting wil be held in Skyline Auditorium.
SKYLINE VARSITY & JV BOYS' GOLF TEAM

There is a DECA meeting for all members after school, Monday, March 19th in B427.
Any 10th or 11th grade students already in the Mreach program, you should be receiving a field trip permission slip in your 5th hour class by next Tuesday. If you do not want to go, please see Ms. Wargo. Slips need to be turned in by Tuesday, March 22nd.
Junior Interviews will begin the week of March 19th. Please stop into your SLC Office and sign up for an appointment time with your Counselor, beginning tomorrow!
All POW Members, Mrs. Edwards has a surprise for you! There will be a Mandatory meeting for all POW members on Thursday, March 22nd at 2:45 pm sharp in room A 311.
On Tuesday, March 20th at 1:30 pm(5th period), Skyline Parents are invited to attend the 1 hour presentation of Vincent York's Jazzistry 6-piece Band in the Skyline Auditorium! They will perform along with a visual narrative about jazz history with various students from Skyline Humanities and Music Classes. Skyline's 10th grade Social Studies students and various music/performing arts students and teachers will also be in attendance. The audience will be taken on a 400-year American history lesson, transforming the school auditorium into a multicultural, musical time machine! Please check-in and enter through the Main Office. No taping is allowed of any Jazzistry presentation or performance. More detailed information is available in the March issue of the Eagle's Eye.
SKYLINE INTERACT CLUB
The Interact Club is holding a clothing drive. Please donate any gently used clothing that we will then give to the Salvation Army. The Clothing Drive will be held from February 13th-March 31st.
Do you like to get to know new people? Discuss World Events? Explore different Religions or ways of thinking? If yes, you should join the Diversity Club. We'll bring snacks, discuss different issues and have a multicultural banquet every Friday from 3-4 pm.
PTO THRIFT SHOP
Transportation funding for acadmeic as well as extra-curricular travel is now available thanks to a grant from the Ann Arbort PTO thrift shop. Direct requests to the principal's office.
SKYLINE HACKY SACK CLUB
Students interested in playing, learning and developing their skills with a hacky sack. Every Tuesday, immediately following school the Skyline Hacky Sack Club will meet.
STUDENT PARKING LOT
In an effort to keep our students safe during drop off and pickup times, we have made some adjustments to the entry and exiting of the student parking lot at peak times of the day.
In the AM: There will be only one way In the Student Parking Lot between 7:30 AM & 7:45 AM
In the PM: There will be only one way Out of the Student Parking Lot between 2:30 PM & 3:00 PM
