Business, Marketing and Information Technology Magnet: This magnet is designed for students who are interested in engaging in the dynamic and ever changing world of commerce. Students will develop an understanding of marketing, entrepreneurship and technology in the 21st century global economy. This magnet is dedicated to creating informed and empowered consumers and producers contributing to local, national and international communities

Communication, Media and Public Policy: This magnet is for students who want to change the world. Students will learn how to systemically identify and solve some of the major problems of the day. Students will use a variety of professional-quality multimedia tools to inform the Ann Arbor Community about issues that mean the most to them. This magnet is dedicated to improving the quality of student-produced information about issues related to individual rights, healthy families, sustainable environment and cultural diversity.

Design Technology and Environmental Planning Magnet: This magnet is for students who are interested in designing our world of tomorrow. The magnet course of study will educate students about designing products with a sustainable future in mind; will educate consumers about making environmentally friendly choices; and will foster development of products that will solve local problems.

Health & Medicine Magnet: This magnet is designed for students who are interested in saving the world. Students will investigate public health, medical interventions, biotechnical and biomedical engineering to improve human quality of life. Students will be engaged in “hands-on” projects, technology and inquiries. Scientific research and development will be a major component of this health and science related innovation magnet.
