Dear Skyline Parents and Guardian:

    Skyline students now have the opportunity to explore and express interest in one of the four magnet programs at Skyline. Each student will experience interdisciplinary lessons exploring each magnet area with an informational assembly being held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009.  Students will have an opportunity to meet the Magnet Lead Teachers and magnet information tables will be set up at during lunch on Wednesday. 

Any ninth grade student presently enrolled at Skyline is eligible to apply for one of the 30 seats that will be available next year.  To be considered for a Magnet Program, a student must complete a short application form that will be available in the  SLC or Main Office beginning Thursday, January 29, 2009.  Completed applications must be returned to the Main Office by Friday, February 13, 2009.  In the event we have more than 30 students applying for each content area, a lottery process will be used to select students.
