Enrollment Information for
Open Enrollment Lottery (In District Transfer) & School of Choice Students

This information applies to students who will be in the 9th or 10th grade during the 2015-16 school year.

Welcome, at Skyline we pride ourselves on designing our programs and curriculum with a focus on students. We offer numerous opportunities for your child to excel and even become a peer mentor or mentee. We look forward to your child becoming a Skyline Eagle and enriching our educational community. 

Open Enrollment Lottery Window: Jan 15-Feb 27 with parents notified by March 19.

School of Choice Window: April 20 - June 3 with parents notified by mid-May.

Students Currently Living Within the AAPS Attendance Boundary

If your child is currently attending an AAPS middle school and plans on attending their districted high school no action is required.

Non-Public School Attendees Living In the Skyline Boundary: Submit the normal required enrollment paperwork if you are not attending an AAPS school but live within the Skyline attendance area and plan to attend Skyline for the upcoming school year.

If your child is currently in the 8th or 9th grade and does not plan on attending their districted high school next year, follow the directions below.

Open Enrollment Lottery (In District Transfer) (125 Seats Available): A student who would like to attend Skyline but lives in the AAPS boundary area of Huron or Pioneer should submit the open enrollment lottery (in district transfer) paperwork or electronic form by the deadline detailed above. One hard copy or electronic form per student will be accepted, and they may be submitted online or to the district central offices at BALAS. Student Enrollment Office, 2555 S. Students who do not attend an AAPS school but plan to do so for the upcoming school year must fill out the required enrollment paperwork AND the in district transfer and/or open enrollment lottery paperwork.  

Students Not Currently Living Within the AAPS Attendance Boundary

School of Choice: Student lives outside of the AAPS boundary area and would to attend Skyline. School of Choice enrollment forms will be available on the AAPS website during the enrollment period.
